Sunday June 29, 2025, Radical Sunday School: Emotional Labour: Education, Support, and Self-care. From 18:00 till 20:00.Managing emotions, both our own and other’s, is hard work. We live in a world that expects many people to keep their emotions bottled up, to cater to the feelings of others and to stay calm and patient in the face of oppression.

Even among activists and anarchists, there is a lot for us to learn: Why does so much emotional labour happen behind the scenes? How can we set and respect boundaries? How do we consider the invisible work done by others? How can we create a supportive environment together?

In this session we will talk about topics such as what emotional labour is, our experiences with emotional labour, and the issues that come along with it.

Joes Garage has a steep ramp and is om the ground floor of the building. There is a couch and wooden chairs available. The space in the building is relatively small. It only has one toilet, which is small and narrow. The session will be in English.
