[Amsterdam] Ruiten gebroken bij techbedrijf Oracle - Windows smashed at tech company Oracle

Afgelopen nacht, de avond na de massa actie tegen het microsoft datacenter in Westpoort, hebben we de ruiten van het kantoor van het Amerikaanse techbedrijf Oracle aan de Nieuwevaart in Amsterdam kapot geslagen.

We hebben Oracle uitgekozen als doelwit omdat het een grote speler is in het militair-technologisch-complex. Het bedrijf heeft een jarenlange partnerschap met Microsoft, steunt Israël openlijk uit ideologische motivatie en heeft meegewerkt – en dus dik verdiend – aan het opzetten van surveillance en repressie in Oost-Turkistan om de Chinese Staat te helpen in het onderdrukken van de Oeigoerse bevolking.

Afgelopen zomer nog ondertekende Oracle een contract van 7 miljard dollar met het ministerie van oorlog van de Verenigde Staten. Het bedrijf levert zo de technologische ondersteuning die onmisbaar is om het Amerikaans imperialisme in stand te houden en uit te breiden. De datacenters van Oracle worden ook in Israël gebouwd, waar het bedrijf veelvuldig samenwerkt met Rafael Systems - een van de grootste Israëlische wapenbedrijven - die de AI-gestuurde raketten ontwikkelt die gebruikt worden in de genocide in Gaza. De software en hardware ontwikkeld door Oracle is eveneens een fundamenteel onderdeel van de surveillance technologie gebruikt door het Xinjiang Openbaar Veiligheidsbureau van de Chinese Communistische Partij. Dit bureau is administratief en logistiek verantwoordelijk voor de massa-arrestaties van Oeigoeren die dwangarbeid, gevangenschap, geforceerde sterilisatie en systematische onderdrukking tot gevolg hebben.

Oost of West, het maakt geen verschil voor het militarisme van de overheersers. De militaire-tech industrie verspreid wereldwijd repressie en oorlog. Het is dan ook die industrie die onze vijand is. Elk leger, elke staat, elke corporatie, ongeacht hun vlag, is een onderdrukker voor het kapitaal. We zullen ze blijven bestrijden en aanvallen.

Last night, the evening after the mass action against the Microsoft data centre in Westpoort, we smashed the windows at the office of the American tech company Oracle on the Nieuwevaart in Amsterdam.

We chose Oracle as a target because it is a major player in the military-technological complex. The company has a long-standing partnership with Microsoft, openly supports Israel for ideological reasons, and has collaborated – and profited greatly – in establishing surveillance and repression in East Turkestan to assist the Chinese state in suppressing the Uyghur population.

Just last summer, Oracle signed a 7 billion dollar contract with the United States department of war. The company provides the technological support that is essential for maintaining and expanding American imperialism. Oracle’s data centres are also built in Israel, where the company frequently collaborates with Rafael Systems – one of the largest Israeli arms companies – which develops the AI-guided missiles used in the genocide in Gaza. The software and hardware developed by Oracle is also a fundamental part of the surveillance technology used by the Xinjiang Public Security Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party. This bureau is administratively and logistically responsible for the mass arrests of Uyghurs, leading to forced labour, imprisonment, forced sterilisation, and systematic oppression.

East or West, it makes no difference to the militarism of the rulers. The military-tech industry spreads repression and war worldwide. It is this industry that is our enemy. Every army, every state, every corporation, regardless of their flag, is an oppressor in the name of capital. We will continue to fight and attack them.
