“The Story of Jenin” is a 65-minute documentary that tells the story of the camp and its residents since 2013, combining civilians’ daily lives with writings that reveal their ongoing suffering. The film takes us through the alleys, homes, and streets, showing their recent displacement, their waiting to return, and the mix of emotions longing, anger, and hope. It’s a journey inside the camp, revealing life as it is truly lived there. It was produced over two years, in 2024 and 2025, while the story of Jenin is ongoing and gives an intimate, beautiful and personal look at daily struggles, fears, dreams, and moments of joy. Meanwhile, the community’s profound strength in the face of military violence and displacement comes through everywhere.
