Workshop: Fight for your housing rights!

On 3 October at 19:30 Bond Precaire Woonvormen (BPW) Utrecht will be giving a workshop in English at BAK on Pauwstraat 13!

BPW is a tenant union that aims to organize tenants to claim their housing rights, to build tenant power and change the broken housing system! In the workshop we will give an overview of your rights in the Dutch housing system and how to recognize illegal actions by your landlord. Especially non-Dutch speakers are often exploited because landlords assume they are not aware of their rights, let’s change this power imbalance!

We will discuss how to organize effectively to try to prevent evictions, lower rent prices and demand much needed renovations. Lastly, we want your input on how to build a strong tenant union and fight for housing as a human right.
