Monday September 1st, 2025, Voku benefit for Vrrrane, anarchafeminist group from Zagreb. Food served from 7pm, no reservation.

On this first night of September we will be cooking for vrrrane (lit. “crrrows”), an anarchoqueer feminist group from Zagreb, Croatia. The group has been active since 2023?
On 01/09 (same day as the voku), they will have a court case concerning charges of disturbing the public peace and order. Four people in the group were violently arrested during an action on the 30th of July against a nationalist military parade celebrating the defeat of Serbia in the war. They jumped in front of military vehicles, breaking balloons with red paint on themselves & attempted to block the parade by laying on the street in front of it.
All your donations will go to vrrrane to help with lawyer’s costs and potential fines that come out of the court case on Sept 1st.
