The Amsterdam Dyke March came into being in 2022 with the intent to bring our lesbian community together. By marching through the streets, we take part in a longstanding, worldwide tradition of lesbian strength and radical solidarity. We work outside of institutions and are exclusively funded through community funds and donations which we redistribute and use to organise free community spaces. This is fundamental in Amsterdam, where gentrification and social exclusion are endangering the queer movement. We will once again take the streets on 27 June, when we will march not only for queer rights, but also rights and equality for BIPOC, refugees, trans people, disabled people, the working class and sex workers.

Volkseten Vegazulu is a people’s kitchens existing since the very beginning of Joe’s Garage, June 2005. Your donations are welcome. Food is vegan, no reservation. All benefits go to social & political struggles. Joe’s Garage is a space run by volunteers. Without a collective effort, without your active participation, we’re remaining closed.
